FAQ

How is the VTNE organized?

The exam is built from ten skill domains covering the range of veterinary-technician practice — from animal care and anesthesia to pharmacy, surgery, lab work, dentistry, emergency care, imaging, pain management, and communication. Each domain contributes a share of the questions.

Which domains should I study first?

Start with the heaviest. In our bank, Animal Care & Nursing and Anesthesia together make up nearly a third of the questions, so they earn the first and largest slice of your time.

Why are some domain guides marked coming soon?

We publish deep guides where they help most first — the two heaviest domains are live now, and we add the rest as demand grows. Every domain is already represented in the practice bank.
